I have a relatively simple gridview bound to an product table that displays great. When I do so, the gridviews' Row Data Bound event fires and the values of the text properties of the tablecells in the row evaluate to "" emptystring.
I believe it is because of the fact that your performing a delete operation and it's not needed.
A Grid View Update Event Args object is passed to the event-handling method, which enables you to determine the index of the current row and to indicate that the update operation should be canceled.
To cancel the update operation, set the collections, if necessary, before the values are passed to the data source.
The field name is the same as the parameter name and I tried creating an edititemtemplate and named the textbox the same name.
The value of the checkbox "status" is populated from the DB, but it is also passing the null value....
